Hello! I’m Md Mamunul Islam, Ph.D., a passionate scientist, educator, and lifelong learner who finds joy in both the wonders of research and the art of teaching. My journey has been guided by curiosity, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to contributing meaningfully to science and education.
My research interests lie at the crossroads of biology, chemistry, cancer studies, and the natural world. At my core, I am both a lifelong learner and a devoted educator. My love for teaching flourished during my time as a graduate teaching assistant, where I discovered the profound fulfillment of guiding students and helping them master complex concepts.
Recently, becoming a father has deeply shaped my perspective. The birth of my daughter has been a transformative experience, sparking a renewed commitment to education. Watching her curiosity unfold has inspired me to foster that same sense of wonder and learning in my students. It has reinforced my dedication to helping learners grow, not only academically but personally.
